The Ten Recommendations and The Three Golden Rules
Introduction: From the Book The Psyche / Die Psyche
The human being of Earth has adopted the unpleasant habit of using false word-concepts for things and matters, which he/she does not understand or only partially understands. This is also true for the spirit and for the material consciousness, in which case the latter also represents the actual personality of a human being. In this false use of false terms, it also occurs that the human being speaks e.g. of 'spiritual nourishment' as well as of 'spiritual property', as also of 'spirit-illness', 'spiritual delusion', 'spiritual derangement', 'spiritual disturbance', 'spiritual inadequacy', or 'spiritually lacking' and so on and so forth. Truthly, however, none of these terms apply to the spirit, because it can neither be sick nor confused, nor disturbed, deranged or faulty in any way. It also can never be inadequate, neither can one state that it receives a form of nourishment from the human being when this person is thinking, philosophising and learning, etc. Also, neither can a spiritual property ever be talked about if a human being composes written words or notes, makes drawings or inventions, etc., because the spirit itself neither brings forth spiritual property in this manner, nor can it be fed by the thinking, learning and philosophising, etc., of the material consciousness. All this can solely and exclusively be attributed only to the material consciousness, so therefore the material-consciousness" becomes spoken of, which can, through various other circumstances and occurrences, etc., be able to become ill and feeble-minded, deranged, confused, disturbed or inadequate, etc.
The Ten Recommendations
Additional Behavior in Connection with the Three Golden Rules
1. It must be absolutely avoided to spend more time than necessary behind 'four walls'. This means that as much as possible, one must breathe fresh air and spend a lot of time out-doors. Long walks in the forest and fields are required and indispensable.
2. During the walks, one should often shout out loud. A name is best suited for this, which is shouted out with all the power of one's voice, as if searching for someone in the vicinity. Many human beings use a name which has a special significance for them, with good success. This shouting out tremendously loosens the suppressed feelings and trepidations in the inner nature, through which one begins to feel freer and more joyful.
3. While taking a stroll one should sing as loudly as possible, in which case, happy and humorous songs are very valueful, so for example, Where Mountains Rise ... ',' Wandering is the Miller's Joy ... ',' Cheerful is the Gypsie's Life ... ',' Annemarie ... ',' Durs Oberland uuf ... ', and so on and so forth. This singing likewise loosens the suppressed feelings and the trepidations in the inner nature. However, one should pay attention that they are sung with a really loud, strong voice because only in this way is it rightly effective. Whether the human being is musical or not, in nowise, plays any role. The main thing is that they are sung as loudly as possible.
4. During the walk it is advisable that the long stretches often be walked barefoot with alternating gaits. Thus it is recommended to go one time at a normal pace in order then to run quickly or to employ a sprint for a short stretch.
5. From time to time one should allow oneself a short rest and to sit down somewhere if possible, in which case one should also indulge oneself fancifully in a wishful dream or in beautiful and pleasant memories, which even during the walks, should generally not be set aside from one's attention.
6. During the walks and rests it is of importance that everything is accurately heard, observed and considered. Flowers, animals, trees, birds and everything that the ears hear and the eyes see are of absolute importance. That it should be accurately heard, observed, looked at and considered, means that it must be realised, therefore really quite accurately heard and looked at and considered – not just superficially. Every detail should be accurately heard, observed and looked at and considered. Accurate hearing and accurate consideration and observation trigger neutral and positive thoughts; which, on the other hand, fasten themselves firmly in the memory as ineradicable recollections, through which remembering and the concentration-power are regained or strengthened.
7. One reflects over one's deeds and speech and one's own thoughts and reproaches oneself in all honesty and criticism for committed errors.
8. Secrets, entrusted in confidence, or other knowledge about other human beings should be kept to oneself under all circumstances and spoken of only if the person in question wishes it so, or it is necessitated through certain compelling circumstances.
9. One always speaks slowly and deliberately, but also with control and friendliness, if the circumstances do not require otherwise.
10. Absolute honesty and correctness towards oneself and towards the fellow human beings are also of utmost importance, as well as to al- ways represent one's freedom of opinion in all situations. These not only further self-confidence and a correct mode of life, but also the intellect, the rationality and the trust and the esteem for other human beings.

The Three Golden Rules
Positive Thinking
How does one think positively?
1) From childhood on, every human being normally possesses a wishful dream; a wishful dream-construct existing in his/her fantasy of something that he/she, someday, would like to bring to fruition, or of which he/she simply gladly dreamt or dreams of. A wishful dream of anything that he/she perceives as good, beautiful, sweet and nice. A wishful dream which can become realised or which, quite simply, represents a fantasy-construct for all times. In any case, however, a wishful dream is better if it can one day become realised. However, if the knowledge of such a wishful dream has been lost, then every per- son is able to create a new one; a new wishful dream in which one can indulge in the fantasy.
In order to learn neutral-positive thinking it is only necessary to turn, in thoughts, immediately to this old or new wishful dream and to indulge in it with great fantasy, mainly every time when negative thoughts begin to influence the thinking, in other words, when thoughts of worry and misery, etc., begin to burden the normal positive thinking, to restrain and to torment it. However, it is also recommended, the rest of the time, to indulge in a wishful dream in fantasy, where very overburdening.
In any case it is permissible to let one’s thoughts of worry and misery, etc., are not so thoughts glide along the most fanciful lines in the wishful dream, to build gigantic castles in the sky and to indulge in all that is able to happiness, love, beauty, please the senses: understanding and everything which uplifts the heart and feelings. There are no set limits in the fantasy and also, no attempt at a limitation should be undertaken. However, it is of the greatest necessity thereupon, to pay attention that the wishful dream is always immediately seized, when even only the smallest negative thought attempts to break into the consciousness.
All beginnings are very difficult, thus also the learning of the neutral-positive thinking. In the beginning it will take an immense amount of effort to concentrate on the wishful dream because the negative thought-world constantly shoots its morale-killing arrows. Unceasingly, the subconsciousness tries to push the rampant negative goods of thoughts into the foreground through which a concentration on the wishful dream can be brought about only very laboriously. Nevertheless however, over and over again, every thought must be directed to the wishful dream until the negative advancement of the subconsciousness slowly subsides, finally disappears entirely and allows the positive thinking the upper hand and the reign. This procedure, under certain circumstances, can take only a few minutes, however, depending on the severity of the case, even several months. Therefore, in each case, patience must be practised because firstly, no one is born a master and secondly, the consciousness-power varies from human being to human being.
2) Even if the mood is quite sad and depressing, one should always put on a certain smile just how the Chinese have adopted this as their own. It is not to say, that right at the beginning, one must smile with complete feeling because this would be impossible since that is contrary to the mood. At the beginning, the smiling is only purely external and in the course of time, evolves into the habitualness while it slowly but surely furthers the positive mode of thinking. The external also settles itself, namely upon the inner nature, therefore a sad and depressing feeling inevitably also creates sad and depressing thoughts, whereas a smiling and cheerful face simply furthers smiling and cheerful thoughts.
3) The head should always be held high, straight and upright. While speaking with a partner the eyes look fully into those of the partner. The entire surroundings, objects, animals, human beings, plants, the whole of nature and everything else are to be very accurately looked at and considered and observed. Everything must be realised very accurately, every detail. Letting one's head hang down and lowering one's eyes must be avoided. Only a conscious realising of the environment is of benefit, through which, impressions are collected and positive thinking processes are built and stimulated.
When these three golden rules are precisely and intensively followed, it cannot fail to appear that in a very short time, the first successes and cognitions will be achieved and thus the first big step will have been taken towards the self-healing. However, to his end, this first success should now not delude that this difficult work now be discontinued, because it must be carried on for as long as it takes, until the thinking has accepted the definitive form of the equalised positive power as absolute. Once this has happened, then the worst catastrophe will never again be able to damage or even oppress this thus formed and empowered human being in a consciousness-based manner.
