Why India should re-write its history books?
From the beginning of the 20th century to till recent days, the left-leaning intellectuals, chauvinistic political thinkers, semi-literate media and half-cooked archeologists – everyone including the India's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru jumped into the popular bandwagon and created the nonsensical ‘Aryan Invasion Theory’ without any solid historical, linguistic, archeological or literary evidence. Due to this the South India, particularly the Tamil Nadu state is totally polarized. The narrow-minded Dravidian movements took this ‘Aryan Invasion Myth’ theory into their hand and implanted the non-existent ‘Dravidian Utopia.’ These sectarian forces went to such an extent of dividing the nation and to claim a separate ‘Dravida Nadu,’ (Dravidian Nation). Initially, these sectarian forces have been succeeded in radicalizing the sizeable chunk of youths. Fearing the backlash, later they’d thrown-out this useless idea. Still, the Dravidian political parties are only ruling the state for the past 52 years. Citing the ‘Aryan Invasion,’ these sectarian forces created (and successfully maintained the fear factor in the minds of people) ‘Dravidian Nationalism.’
But several renowned archeologists confronted this ‘Aryan Invasion Myth.’ So many recent archeological evidence suggests that no such invasion took place. In fact, in this talk, Dr. David Frawly humorously says ‘they didn’t find enough evidence to support the Aryan Invasion Theory.’ So they changed to group of Aryan Invaders entered India at various points. In this way, the ‘Aryan Invasion Theory’ has been reduced to the level of ‘Aryan Tourist Theory.’
