It is a reality that gender equality has been one of the most discussed topics in our culture throughout the last decades. The level of inclusion by women in activities that were previously considered “only for men” is impressive. However, it seems that the cryptocurrency market is not one of these activities. These currencies, and their use, have been largely reserved for men rather than women worldwide, which is difficult to understand.

It is a reality that gender equality has been one of the most discussed topics in our culture throughout the last decades. These currencies, and their use, have been largely reserved for men rather than women worldwide, which is difficult to understand.
Is the crypto currency market really a club only men?
So far, the facts allow us to affirm this issue. It is difficult to accurately measure the number of women operating in the cryptocurrency market, but, according to a recent survey, between 85% and 95% of transactions made with the use of cryptocurrencies are made by men.
In terms of statistics, when events such as conferences and forums are held, since about 75% or 85% of total attendance have almost always been men who attend the event, while 25% or 15% are women. What makes a greater inclination to think that there is greater interest in the crypto issue by the male balance.
However, we have seen the effort by several businesswomen and entrepreneurs to reduce these gender gaps. An example of them is Jalak Jobanputra, founder of the investment firm "Future Perfect Ventures", who has been gathering interested in the cryptocurrency industry, to create a group that advocates gender diversity in blockchain technologies. Groups like this have been created to disseminate much more information about cryptocurrencies and encourage women to have a greater interest in it, as well as to facilitate their free entry into this area.
