IJCH - Inside JaiChai's Head (Meaning: My Warped, Personal Opinions and Musings)
From the Author:
Salutations.
I am JaiChai.
And if I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you before, I'm delighted to make your acquaintance now.
I invite you to interact with everyone, learn, and have as much fun as possible!
For my returning online friends, "It's always great to see you again!"
One Reason why an android would make me want to live longer!
When I'm older and more Gray?
I used to say that if I ever get so old and frail that I couldn't wipe my own ass, it was time to punch out (leave this world).
But what if that person wiping my ass wasn't a "Real Human"?
Hmm...
What if androids like this were available?
Seriously?!
And so life-life?
I'd be on that in a heartbeat.
And I'm sure I wouldn't mind "her" assistance to get around - no matter how old I was!
Would (or wouldn't) you?
But...
Here's the conundrum:
If my pretty little android is so realistic that I begin to think of her as human (whatever that is?), I'm right back to my original dilemma; that is, I don't wish to go on living if I am so feeble that another human being has to wipe my ass!
Imagine that?
Other Ways?
I guess if I wished to live longer without being dependent on anyone else for the tasks of daily living, these are two potentially viable, alternative solutions:
Option #1
Upload my consciousness and "live" in the Cloud as a Cyber Entity (BTW, Simulation Theorists believe we are already doing this).
Option #2
CRISPER - (pronounced “crisper”) - stands for Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats.
I am curious to hear what your thoughts are on the aforementioned subjects.
What would you decide to do (or not do)?

Truly hope to see you again!
About the Author -
Believing that school was too boring, he dropped out of High School early; only to earn an AA, BS and MBA in less than 4 years much later in life – while working full-time as a Navy/Marine Corps Medic.
In spite of a fear of heights and deep water, he performed high altitude, free-fall parachute jumps and hazardous diving ops in deep, open ocean water.
After 24 years of active duty, he retired in Asia.
Since then, he's been a full-time, single papa and actively pursuing his varied passions (Writing, Disruptive Technology, Computer Science and Cryptocurrency - plus more hobbies too boring or bizarre for most folk).
He lives on an island paradise with his teenage daughter, long-term girlfriend and three dogs.
