Don't waste any time
The one who wastes his/her time and does not consciously gather the best knowledge and true wisdom, annot be happy, nor satisfied, because there is a lack thereto, of everything that brings forth joy as well as peace and harmony. SSSC, July 7, 2011, 1:04 am, Billy
What creates satisfaction?
Satisfaction of the human being depends on various things, whereas the physical and mental health, good friendships and valueful interpersonal relationships as well as an adequate material prosperity/well-being are the most important factors. However, all these values must be cared for, thus also the physical and mental health, to which negative and bad thoughts and feelings are likewise detrimental as well as emotions of the same kind. In doing so, it must be understood, that feelings are not to be equated with emotions, because feelings result without exception from conscious or unconscious thoughts, while emotions arise from long-cherished and uncontrolled feelings.
Fact is, that every human being cares a great deal about maintaining his/her health, but many do not know that the right consciousness-based attitude is also necessary for that, because this often plays a very important role with regard to staying healthy as well as regarding the course of an illness and thus becoming healthy.
The power of that which is consciousness-based, arises from the thoughts and the thereout resulting conscious or unconscious thoughts and their feelings. That which is consciousness-based is actually the fundamental factor, which determines over the entire mentality and is also the fundamental factor of power of the impetus for ideas, thoughts and feelings, consequently it has nothing to do with the spirit. The spirit, namely, is fundamentally the absolutely neutral and, for every illness, etc., invulnerable creational-natural factor of the life-energy of the consciousness and the human body in general. Hence, there is no 'spirit-illness' and no 'spiritual goods/possessions', i.e. 'spiritual author's rights', etc., but only a 'consciousness illness' and 'consciousness-based' goods/possessions, i.e. a 'consciousness-based author's rights'. The spirit itself, as the energy factor of life, is absolutely neutral and cannot be influenced in a negative wise or even impaired by anything, because for the human being, the spirit is inviolable in every respect, contrary to the consciousness and its thoughts and the feelings resulting from them, which the human being can very well determine and direct himself/herself. Therefore, the human being should make sure that his/her consciousness always dwells in equanimity, and indeed in every situation, both in joy and happiness as well as in anxiety, fear and dread, because only therethrough can he/she control and restrain himself/herself.
Especially anxiety, fear and dread are usually only short-lived disturbances that rise up like waves in the sea, collapse again and ebb away. The consciousness-based fundamental-attitude should not be touched nor affected by this, rather the equanimity must be preserved, wherethrough the blood pressure does not flush, but behaves normally. Exactly that, however, is what is needed for the overall health and also positively promotes the physical condition. From this alone, it is already recognizable that the consciousness-based attitude contributes a great deal to the physical and mental health and therefore determines the satisfaction to a high degree. This in turn also determines the pattern of behavior of the human being, so that he/she does not fall prey to hatred or pathological craving for revenge and retaliation, and so forth, because satisfaction creates the necessary equalisedness. Thus, a healthy consciousness-based attitude determines healthy patterns of behavior and this in turn a corresponding satisfaction, which in turn is connected with all high inner values, with love, inner peace and with inner freedom and harmony.
There are human beings who constantly suffer from high blood pressure, but nevertheless don't feel exhausted, because consciousness-wise they are always active, control their thoughts and feelings, enjoy life, are satisfied and constantly active and usefully busy.
Others live in great material well-being/prosperity, but are inactive consciousness-wise and continually moan and groan over existing or imagined aches and pains. Despite their material and very pleasant existence and all its circumstances, they have neither calm/repose nor peace, no inner freedom, no harmony and no satisfaction. Their consciousness and their thoughts and feelings are constantly burdened with worries about their material well-being/prosperity, about their sleep which they cannot find, and about their digestion and about everything conceivably possible and impossible. Their consciousness and their thoughts and feelings find no rest, no equanimity and no satisfaction, which are an extremely important requirement for the physical and mental health. These human beings simply fall prey to a hypochondria, in which case, most unfortunately, they neither want to recognize it nor admit to it. They are truthly unsatisfied through and through and need no doctor. Truthly, they only have to look in their inner nature and strive to use something of their creationally and naturally given inner power-potential of the fundamental satisfaction and to consciously build up love, peace, inner freedom and harmony.
Material well-being/prosperity and comfort may be very pleasant, but they are not the Nonplusultra for real satisfaction. Whether or not the human being gains satisfaction from the benefits of well-being/prosperity and comfort depends upon his/her consciousness-based attitude, so it is therefore important whether he/she feels depressed or cheerful.
It is therefore fundamentally the consciousness-based attitude that makes the difference between depression and cheerfulness. This also means, that the things that constitute the material well-being/prosperity and comfort, have no benefit if the consciousness, with its thoughts and its feelings, is ruled by anger. Nor must one’s patience be lost, otherwise the thoughts and their feelings are suddenly changed by hatred. So the consciousness-based attitude is very decisive, in order to be able to use the material things and the modes of behavior thereto to their satisfaction. And this satisfaction must also be given on the level from human being to human being, and there must be no distinction between rich and poor as well as between positions. Truly honest and loving thoughts and feelings are much more meaningful and important than a status based on position. To be a simple human being, who has a healthy and positive attitude as a result of his/her attitude to life, through his/her correct modes of behavior, his/her practical experiences and the living of them as well as by dint of his/her consciousness-thought-feeling-discipline, is far more important than to hold a great title or to have enormous material riches and comfort.
The human being should know and – if he/she only wants – gain certainty of his/her own great potential, which he/she possesses, that with a little more knowledge with regard to the truth as well as with a little more self-confidence and effort, he/she can really developmentally change to the better and gain great satisfaction.
However, he/she must not concentrate again and again on the negative sides of existence when he/she has difficulties or simply experiences unpleasant things. The positive things of life as well as one's own good and valueful potential must always be seen – even in the case of bad knockdowns – because this alone already guarantees that a certain satisfaction arises and guarantees a success. In fact, all problems can be overcome, if one's own energies and qualities are used extensively. This is also decisive with regard to interpersonal relationships and with regard to the consciousness-based attitudes, which are further keys to satisfaction and for the thought-feeling-psyche-based well-being. This holds true for all human beings, and indeed also for those who are healthy. If the inner potential, which is an inner state of well-being, is used, then satisfaction will also arise, as well as pleasing relationships with the fellow human beings, because truly the source of human satisfaction lies in the inner balance, joy, harmony, freedom and love as well as in deep inner peace.
