Salutations.
I am JaiChai.
And if I haven't had the pleasure to make your acquaintance, it's always nice to meet you now.
(IJCH) Silver, The Yellow Brick Road and The Man Behind the Curtain
But first off, have you heard of Mike Maloney?
I have been a Mike Maloney fan since the first time I watched his Hidden Secrets of Money video series. He not only is an amazing spotter of trends in the investment world, a globally renowned investment educator and best-selling author, his life story is truly inspiring.
Suffering from dyslexia, school was understandably painful for him. But the dyslexia made him aware that he had a special "phonographic memory" (akin to eidetic memory - "photographic memory", but in the context of hearing and auditory recall).
Adapt, Overcome, Improvise!
Later on, his dyslexia was overcome by the advent of text-to-speech technology; enabling him to explain complex economic and financial topics in a simple way that any layman can understand.
He also learned early in life that he had a knack for seeing trend factors and hidden insights of an investment by simply glancing at their charts and "hearing" (in his mind) the loud and obvious message from the numbers.
By listening to an investment's historical performance within its industry, matching it with his estimate of current macro-socioeconomic conditions, and projecting far out into the future, Mike has consistently made far superior profits than his cohorts in the precious metals investment space.
For me, I like him.
His sincerity, sarcastic wit and down-to-Earth demeanor - seen in all of his videos - puts him solidly in my "Most Respected Heroes" group.
As for the case of silver?
Similar to Mike Maloney's views, I also believe that the more people know about silver and its history, the more they will respect it.
Silver has never been fully recognized for its contribution to the young United States' prosperity and early monetary system.
Nor is silver's sustained superior performance as a store of value ever widely acknowledged.
Why?
Simple.
From the beginning of the United States to now, the Ruling Banking Elite (mostly European at that time, but now includes members from around the world) knew that silver - which is much more plentiful than gold in the United States - represents a major threat to their control of worldwide wealth.
And they've gone to some extreme measures in their campaign against silver through the years.
From the political shenanigans of the late 1800's to all the other forms of outside coercion, silver's true story has been intentionally placed outside of the mainstream.
But the real facts about silver's inherent investment qualities and solid protection against volatile, manic-depressive legacy markets and ever-fluctuating fiat currency can be made obvious with even the most cursory of investigations.
Did you know that in the original "Wizard of Oz" story, Dorothy's slippers were made of silver?
Why was it changed?
Hint: Continual outside pressure to make the gold standard reign supreme.
And did you know that the author of "The Wizard of Oz" - L. Frank Baum - was a staunch silver advocate?
If you look closely, you'll see cleverly hidden clues sprinkled throughout this classic children's tale that symbolizes the story of silver in early America and clearly illustrates L. Frank Baum's political beliefs and personal monetary philosophy.
Given those facts, what do you think "The Yellow Brick Road" and "The Man Behind the Curtain" means?
Check it out. You'll be entertained with what you'll find.

" Shoosh! I can't hear what's really going on!"

He is a retired U.S. Military veteran. Believing that school was too boring, he dropped out of High School early; only to earn an AA, BS and MBA in less than 4 years much later in life – while working full-time as a Navy/Marine Corps Medic. In spite of a fear of heights and deep water, he parachuted out of airplanes and performed diving ops in very deep, open ocean water.
He spends his days on an island paradise with his teenage daughter, longtime girlfriend and three dogs.
