Indian Government’s stern, timely and laudable action against the radical outfit
The Government took the right and appropriate action against the Popular Front of India, a questionable terror-funding organization that played a crucial role in recruiting Jihadists for Syrian Warfront, plotted to kill the key members of the ruling BJP party, which includes the Prime Minister Modi. Under the guidance of National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, various secret agencies and law enforcement authorities acted swiftly to nab the culprits simultaneously across India. As intended, the concerted effort of these agencies sent the shock waves to these ‘shadow operators.’ Except in Kerala, the PFI totally surrendered. At the last moment, they instigated violence in Kerala, forcing the State government to claim 5 Crore damages from the PFI. Expectedly, the court fined the 5.16 crores to PFI. Finally, the Government also announced 5-year ban for PFI. This is a welcome change in the Indian administration and the judiciary. The Modi Government had done its homework admirably in this matter. They even called some of the influential Muslim leaders and indicated the ‘forthcoming action against the PFI.’ Surprisingly, most of the Muslim leaders welcomed the Government’s decision in this regard. That’s the reason, soon after the action, several Muslim leaders expressed their opinion in their twitter handle in favour of the Government’s action. As per the saying of Tamil Sage ‘Thiruvalluvar ‘ “Cut off thorn-trees when young they are; Grown hard, they cut your hands beware," the government decisively cut the thorn-filled tree called PFI. Still, if it gives continues trouble in the future, then we have to get rid of this thorny tree.
