Forget The 10,000-Hour Rule - A New Paradigm About Achieving Mega-Success
Instead of "The 10,000-Hour Rule", modern Day Billionaires, including The Richest Man in the World - Jeff Bezos espouse "The 10,000 Experiment Rule".There are many reasons why "The 10,000 Experiment Rule" is better.
An easy to understand explanation of the rationale, global (and personal) impact, historical statistics, and amazingly positive results of it are detailed in this excellent article:

I recommend this article to all who are motivated to go to the next level.
Why?
Because it introduces an effective, new paradigm about achieving mega-success.
Reading it will definitely make you question your present mindset about workloads, high vs. low value activities, failures, and successes.
What is the gist of the article?
What's it all about?
Here's a clue:
Think of Thomas Edison's quest for a viable, long-lasting light bulb.
According to Edison's friend and associate Walter S. Mallory:
"I said: 'Isn't it a shame that with the tremendous amount of work you have done you haven't been able to get any results?'
Edison turned on me like a flash, and with a smile replied: 'Results! Why, man, I have gotten lots of results! I know several thousand things that won't work!'"

About the Author -
Believing that school was too boring, he dropped out of High School early; only to earn an AA, BS and MBA in less than 4 years much later in life – while working full-time as a Navy/Marine Corps Medic.
In spite of a fear of heights and deep water, he performed high altitude, free-fall parachute jumps and hazardous diving ops in deep, open ocean water.
After 24 years of active duty, he retired in Asia.
Since then, he's been a full-time, single papa and actively pursuing his varied passions (Writing, Disruptive Technology, Computer Science and Cryptocurrency - plus more hobbies too boring or bizarre for most folk).
He lives on an island paradise with his teenage daughter, long-term girlfriend and three dogs.
