This scene is part of the Izmir Archeological Museum, including medical artifacts. As a healthcare professional and neuroscience graduate, the statement for medical instruments caught me in the chosen script. Interestingly, love had left behind all medical terminology to describe the history of medicine. The phrase in the pic belongs to Rumi highlighting the therapeutical effect of love but in a psychological manner. This sentence fits the perspective of Erich Fromm towards love and how he explained love and overcoming narcissism come in a body. Moreover, Fromm daringly suggested that the instinct in children that boosters them to tear things up and savage living creatures is a desire to understand and, finally, love. Even if all the wildness that lies behind the idea is too overwhelming for our civilized mind to consider, the link between medical applications and Fromm’s reconception of love doesn’t seem unplausible.
