For my returning online friends, "It's always great to see you again!"
"A Wrinkle In Time" - An Excellent Film: "Modern Day Alice [Meg] Meets Quantum Physics" (or How I must be getting sentimental in my old age 'cause this movie brought tears to my eyes - Damnit!)
"A Wrinkle in Time (2018 Film)"
A Wrinkle in Time is a 2018 American science fantasy adventure film directed by Ava DuVernay and written by Jennifer Lee and Jeff Stockwell, based on the 1962 novel of the same name by Madeleine L'Engle.
The film stars Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michael Peña, Storm Reid, Zach Galifianakis and Chris Pine, and follows a young girl who, with the help of three astral travelers, sets off on a quest to find her father, who went missing after discovering a new planet.
I can easily identify with several things in this movie.
For example...
It has a young daughter named Meg as the heroine - kinda hits home 'casue I'm a single father.
She reminds me sooooo much of my daughter!
It has universal archetypes called "Warriors of the Light (similar to those depicted in Paulo Cuelho "The Alchemist").
It deals with "frequencies of the universe", and touches upon concepts within quantum physics, modified string theory, "M" theory, emergence theory, diversified consciousness models, etc.
To top it off, this movie even has a "Sexy Flying Cabbage"!
I love vegetables now more than ever!

About the Author
Believing that school was too boring, he dropped out of High School early; only to earn an AA, BS and MBA in less than 4 years much later in life – while working full-time as a Navy/Marine Corps Medic.
In spite of a fear of heights and deep water, he performed high altitude, free-fall parachute jumps and hazardous diving ops in deep, open ocean water.
After 24 years of active duty, he retired in Asia.
Since then, he's been a full-time, single papa and actively pursuing his varied passions (Writing, Disruptive Technology, Computer Science and Cryptocurrency - plus more hobbies too boring or bizarre for most folk).
He lives on an island paradise with his teenage daughter, longtime girlfriend and three dogs.
